One thing I like about the verification WIMKIN does, if you want to be verified by submitting a copy of an ID, everyone will know you aren't using an alias or faking a profile. Most I accept I know on social media. But there are often friend requests for a stranger. Helps to see they verified who they are before you consider OKing their request. Like the guy in this photo!
