12. What shall I render unto the LORD for all his benefits toward me?
13. I will take the cup of salvation, and call upon the name of the LORD.
14. I will pay my vows unto the LORD now in the presence of all his people.
15. Precious in the sight of the LORD is the death of his saints.
16. O LORD, truly I am thy servant; I am thy servant, and the son of thine handmaid: thou hast loosed my bonds.
17. I will offer to thee the sacrifice of thanksgiving, and will call upon the name of the Lord.
Psalm 116:12-17 ??
With all we are given from the Lord, what can we return to Him. What payment, would He receive ?
Being stained with sin, we are altogether refused.
Christ, has provided, salvation, but you must reach out, and take it, to just look upon it, and not receive it, is no salvation at all.
And receiving this gift, there is a promise to God, to abandon the life of sin, and put on the new man in Christ.
And seeing we are weak and feeble, and are under the sentence of time, yet the Lord, sees our departure from this world as precious, He knows what it is like to leave this world, for He has experienced, first hand.
But then, we shall be with Him, nothing in this world, shall remove our reward.
The servants of the Lord, have been loosed from the bonds of Satan, sin, and death, and the judgment of sin, therefore they are free.
And as free, they with freewill, offer thanksgiving, to the Lord, for the great things, He has done for us. Amen.
