For all the gods of the nations are idols: but the LORD made the heavens.Psalm 96:1-5🙏🏻 This new song is a song of Christ, an excellent song, singing of redemption, and salvation, only found in Christ the Son. This new song of salvation, sung for joy, to Jehovah Father, who contrived the method, to Christ the Son, who brought it into effect, to the Spirit, who applies it daily in our lives. Christ as Mediator, has secured our salvation, and it is sure. It is published in the Gospel message. We are to show the world, not just in words, but in action, our obedience to Christ, daily. And the glorious work of Christ, rejected by the chosen, yet, received by the heathens, that we may receive, the benefit of eternal life in Christ, for who can make a soul clean but Christ our Savior. For this reason we can sing the Lord is great. As Creator, He is above all creations. Especially all idols created by men, they have no power, they cannot create, the foolishness of men, put their trust in them in vain. God is to be revered, He has made the heavens, there is none like Him, give Him the honour due Him. Amen.
