Just a Heads-up to all my friends in the Deep SouthVia a friend in Jackson, Mississippi"Just a friendly reminder to watch out for snakes right now especially with all the rain. I got to mom’s about 6:15 yesterday evening and darted up the ramp with an arm full of groceries to a copperhead (we think). After heart failure I ran back to my car to call David. Side note: turns out I can run faster than you may think. Anyway while sitting in my car waiting for the snake slayer I saw a second one on her porch. After a second round of heart failure I am still alive but the snakes are not. Y’all these were not babies - both were at least 5 feet long. Please watch out and keep your kids, pets, and yourselves safe. I’m recovering nicely this morning."
