29. And when the people were gathered and thick together, he began to say, This is an evil generation: they seek a sign; and there shall no sign be given it, but the sign of Jonas the prophet.30. For as Jonas with a sign unto the Ninevites, so shall also the Son of man be to this generation.31. The queen of the south shall rise up in the judgment with the men of this generation, and condemn them: for she came from the utmost parts of the earth to hear the wisdom of Solomon; and, behold, a greater than Solomon is here.32. The men of Nineve shall rise up in the judgment with this generation, and shall condemn it: for the repented at the preaching of Jonas; and, behold, a greater than Jonas is here.33. No man, when he hath lighted a candle, putterh it in a secret place, neither under a bushel, but on a candlestick, that they which come in may see the light. Luke 11:29-33🙏🏻 These are Christ's words, to those who would not believe, without a sign. As Jonah was in the belly of the fish, Christ, would be buried in the grave three days. The queen of Sheba, heard the wisdom of Solomon, Christ is greater than all creations. The people of Nineveh, repented, at the preaching of Jonah, Christ the Son of God was greater than him. Christ the Light of the world, brought the Gospel message, to bring us out of darkness, and into His marvelous Light. He did not hide the light, but spoke it in public for all to hear. Where light is no darkness can be. Amen.
