3. Thou hast taken away all thy wrath: thou hast turned thyself from the fierceness of thine anger.4. Turn us, O God of our salvation, and cause thine anger toward us to cease. 5. Wilt thou be angry with us for ever? wilt thou draw out thine anger to all generations?6. Wilt thou not revive us again: that thy people may rejoice in thee?7. Shew us thy mercy, O LORD and grant us thy salvation. Psalm 85:3-7ππ» God has gathered up all His wrath against sin, and poured it on His Son Jesus. The Almighty has accepted His Son's death, as payment for sin's destruction. Christ has turned us back to God, we being declared not guilty, being covered in Christ's righteousness, and blood. We all deserve to be punished, but out of God's treasure of mercy and grace, we are pardoned, Christ turning us back on the narrow path, taking away our iniquity. We were dead in sin, Christ, revived us, the meaning of this word in Hebrew, is to restore to life, what was dead. We are justified in Christ, just as if we never sinned. We have been granted the salvation of God, through Christ, the word grant in Hebrew means, to give, or bestow, without compensation, Christ paid the price, we are saved and given eternal life, by His free gift of atonement. Amen.
