18. Thou hast ascended on high, thou hast led captivity captive: thou hast received gifts for men; yea, for the rebellious also, that the LORD God might dwell among them.19. Blessed be the Lord, who daily loadeth us with benefits, even the God of our salvation. Selah.20. He that is our God is the God of our salvation; and unto God the Lord belong the issues from death.21. But God shall wound the head of his enemies, and the hairy scalp of such an one as goeth on still in his trespasses. Psalm 68:18-21 Christ ascended into heaven, in front of witnesses, here the psalmist speaks prophetically, and you see this fulfilled in the Gospels. Christ by the cross has set all who being bound in sin, free. And all the gifts of the Holy Ghost, that Christ possessed, He has freely given to men, to aid in ministry for Christ's Kingdom. Even for the rebellious, unbelieving, and disobedient, as all men are before conversion. That men might enjoy the divine presence of God. Christ has made available every spiritual blessing, grace, pardon, justification, and forgiveness. He is the author of eternal salvation, there is no other. Christ has abolished death, and its curse, and in its place, given eternal life, to all who follow His ways. But God shall destroy all His enemies, Satan, sin, all evil spirits, and all men who refuse His gift of life eternal, and choose to continue a life of sin. Amen.
