1. How long wilt thou forget me, O LORD? for ever? how long wilt thou hide thy face from me? 2. How long shall I take counsel in my soul, having sorrow in my heart daily? how long shall mine enemy be exalted over me?3. Consider and hear me, O LORD my God: lighten mine eyes, lest I sleep the sleep of death;4. Lest mine enemy say, I have prevailed against him; and those that trouble me rejoice when I am moved.5. But I have trusted in thy mercy; my heart shall rejoice in thy salvation.6. I will sing unto the LORD, because he hath dealt bountifully with me. Psalm 13:1-6 It is only those people who have experienced a relationship with Christ, that will miss Him. Man, because God does not answer prayer or remove affliction, thinks they are forgotten. But the Almighty who sent Christ, will never forget His people. It is best to take counsel from God, then men, God's thoughts being so much higher then ours. Our soul having sorrow from sin, because we have strayed from the path of righteousness, allowing a defeated devil, to reign over us. Satan will brag and accuse all those removed from the straight and narrow path. But there is salvation to every sinner, in Christ. Every saint started out a sinner. Lamentations 3:22, It is of the LORD'S mercies that we are not consumed because his compassions fail not. God's word can be trusted above any other. We can sing praises unto the Lord, because He has be better to us than we deserve, and not dealt with us according to our sins. Amen.
