10. To him that smote Egypt in their firstborn: for his mercy endureth for ever.11. And brought out Israel from among them: for his mercy endureth for ever.12. With a strong hand, and with a stretched out arm: for his mercy endureth for ever.13. To him which divided the Red sea into parts: for his mercy endureth for ever. 14. And made Israel to pass through the midst of it: for his mercy endureth for ever. 15. But overthrew Pharaoh and his host in the Red sea: for his mercy endureth for ever.16. To him which led his people through the wilderness: for his mercy endureth for ever. Psalm 136: 10-16. ππ» The psalmist teaches a lesson that needs be remembered. There is a separation between God's people, and the rest of the world. Christ created all people, yet He has separated the rebellious, from the faithful. His love is shown in that He gave His life, to save all, but He will not force you to do, what you choose not to. God passed judgment on Pharaoh and his people, because they witnessed the power of God in the ten plagues, but refused to obey. God separated His people, from a rebellious and idolatrous people, with the blood on their door posts. And death passed over their household. The enemies of God are destroyed with the strong arm of the Lord. The Creator of the Red Sea, used it to destroy Pharaoh and his army, but showed mercy to His people. God's mercy never fails, it is meant for all, but to the rebellious, there is only judgment, and death. Amen.
