Heat waves, hurricanes and other natural disasters have exposed a weakness in electric vehicle adoption: access to power needed for EV charging.https://www.autonews.com/mobility-report/severe-weather-presents-challenge-ev-chargingWest and East coasts of the USA, have suffered catastrophic weather conditions, from heat, flooding to disastrous snow and icy conditions across all states, hardest hit at moment is California, most of all outside EV charging systems have failed along with power outages, land slips and sinkholes, the holiday state having river banks collapse sending RV’s into giant caverns and rivers. This severe weather pattern is heading east towards New York Counties, where many townships and states are already without power.PBS reports of trees down in Oklahoma crushing homes and roads closed through rockslides, even California’s sun city, covered in snow beneath their Palm tree lined streets.Mishaps in severe or extreme weather conditions should be a warning to those that are hell bent on removing a diverse power grid of multiple utilities for renewables only, must open their eyes and of course their minds to reality, even Wind Turbines and Solar will not work in severe conditions like this.Reminds me of the old proverb of the three wise monkeys, with their hands across their eyes, ears and mouths, sounds like our political climate activists….LALALALA.image0.jpeg
