1. Make haste, O God, to deliver me; make haste to help me, O LORD.
2. Let them be ashamed and confounded that seek after my soul: let them be turned backward, and put to confusion, that desire my hurt.
3. Let them be turned back for a reward of their shame that say, Aha, aha.
4. Let all those that seek thee rejoice and be glad in thee: and let such as love thy salvation say continually, Let God be magnified.
5. But I am poor and needy: make haste unto me, O God: thou art my help and my deliverer; O LORD, make no tarrying.
Psalm 70:1-5
The psalmist, speaks in a prophetic way, of Christ.
Christ has come as a man, and also God. You cannot separate the two. Yet, Christ has chosen to take on all the adversity of death, to pay for the sins of the world.
Christ knows the Almighty personally, and He goes straight to the Almighty for strength.
The ways of all who refuse Christ, is revealed, they shall be ashamed, confounded, turned backward, and confused.
But those that seek Christ, will rejoice and be glad in Him. For they love Christ, and His salvation, and God will be magnified in their lives.
You can see Christ as one of us, but sinless, in the last verse, He suffered in our place, He took it all, that we may be redeemed by His blood. Dear Jesus, I thank You, for my salvation. Amen.
