Freezing Eggs When you find a sale on eggs, you can freeze them to store for baking and cooking later.Eggs can not be frozen in the shell, but can be out of the shell.Crack a single egg into each slot in an ice cube tray. Freeze, then pop out and put back into the freezer in a zip lock bag freeing up your ice cube trays for other purposes. To use simply leave a cube per each egg the recipe calls for sitting at room temp in a bowl to defrost.Freeze for up to 3 months or as long as 1 year.

I froze eggs in the shell for 6 months. They were in the plastic egg package and covered with a plastic bag. They were very good after defrost. They were eggs from my own chicken.

Freezers run on electricity and if the grid goes down, no point in stocking up. I suggest glass packing eggs. It does work and is safe, regardless of what the POS FDA says.
