The good news is I started using Astragalus yesterday and again first thing this morning and my blood glucose is only 115. For those of you who don't understand the meaning of this, if it continues I won't need to keep taking Metformin. The problem with Metformin to lower blood glucose is it has been linked to Pancreatic cancer.
According to the Mayo Clinic, In general: Less than 100 mg/dL (5.6 mmol/L ) is normal. 100 to 125 mg/dL (5.6 to 6.9 mmol/L ) is diagnosed as prediabetes. 126 mg/dL (7.0 mmol/L ) or higher on two separate tests is diagnosed as diabetes.
