1. He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.2. I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God in him will I trust.3. Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence.4. He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler. Psalm 91:1-4 The secret place of God, is Christ, the very heart of God. Like Moses was hid in the cleft of the rock as the goodness of the Almighty passed by. We are hid in Christ, all saints dwell with Him in His presence. Under His shadow we find grace, power, and protection. The psalmist expresses, that the Lord, is his refuge, if we were not in danger, being under attack from Satan, we would not need to be provided with a place of safety. They is no safer place, than in Christ, the Savior of the World, the Son of the Almighty. Satan seeks the souls of men, like a hunter seeks prey, he seeks to destroy like a loathsome disease. Christ is your shield, now and forever, having gained Victory at the Cross, over death and hell, He is your King, Priest, and Mediator between God, and sinful men, you need no other. Amen
