1. And I saw in the right hand of him that sat on the throne a book written within and on the backside, sealed with seven seals.2. And I saw a strong angel proclaiming with a loud voice, Who is worthy to open the book, and to lose the seals thereof?3. And no man in heaven, nor in the earth, neither under the earth, was able to open the book, neither to look thereon.4. And I wept much, because no man was found worthy to open and to read the book, neither to look thereon.5. And one of the elders saith unto me, Weep not: behold, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, hath prevailed to open the book, and to loose the seven seals thereof. Revelation 5:1-5 ππ» This is John's eyewitness account of his vision, he saw on the Isle of Patmos. Christ is the Lion of Judah. Christ prevailed, of all Satan threw at Him, even death, He was Victorious over sin, and eternal death (hell). And was worthy to open the book that was sealed. Christ opened the scriptures to His Apostles about who He was. Things hidden from before the world was created. Now Christ opens the book to reveal what shall come. And be it known, it shall come. The Bible, the word of God, is shallow enough for a child to wade through, and deep enough for Theologians to drown in. You need the Author to understand His book. Revelation 1. states all who read and obey this book shall be blessed, and the opposite of blessed is, cursed, unholy, not approved. Only God's children are blessed, bought by blood and redeemed from sin by Christ, He is worthy of our worship, praise, honour, and obedience. Amen.
