5. Happy is he that hath the God of Jacob for his help, whose hope is in the LORD his God:
6. Which made heaven, and earth, the sea, and all that therein is: which keepeth truth for ever:
7. Which executeth judgment for the oppressed: which giveth food to the hungry. The LORD looseth the prisoners:
8. The LORD openeth the eyes of the blind: the LORD raiseth them that are bowed down: the LORD loveth the righteous:
9. The LORD preserveth the strangers; he relieveth the fatherless and widow: but the way of the wicked he turneth upside down.
Psalm 146:5-9
Happy are all who have been redeemed by Christ. Who have been delivered from the misery of a life of sin, and death, and given the promise of eternal life.
This was completed by Christ, Immanuel, God with us, who came in the form of a man, giving hope, of salvation, pardon, and eternal life, through His blood.
Christ who created all, made a secure way to heaven, paying the price for sin, in His death, for all of time.
Christ being the only acceptable, Mediator between fallen man, and God.
Christ has broken the hold of the oppressor, feeding the spiritually hungry, with His Gospel, He has loosed all bound by sin, laying open the doors that kept captive all in sin. Opening the eyes of all spiritually blind, showing the way, of salvation and eternal life.
Christ has removed the burden of punishment, that sin brings.
And replaced it, with His love and grace.
All who have been cast out, by this world, Christ has made available an eternal family, and He shall be their comfort.
But all who refuse Him, their ways, shall He confound, they will not be able to perform their schemes, nor succeed against His church, or His people. Amen.
