A few years ago I got this little vintage wood cookstove, I named her Rosie. I still have plans to build a outdoor kitchen or cabin and Rosie will the main feature there. I really need to nag to Mr. Terry that he need to "find the time" to build me a cabin.
Miz Rita and Rosie cooking up a storm.
Baking that ham and making that jam.
Pudding and pie, enough to go round,
Enough to feed the whole darn town.
Mr.Terry is out of the way...he's playing in the hay.
Smelling the cooking, he knows its goinna be feast day,
Miz Rita and Rosie....laying it down.
Best Little cooks....from all around.
Hen's are in the kitchen,
laying out the spread;
turnip greens, pot licker and cornbread.
Come on girls let's dance a jig or two.
Finest food ever found,
Cooked by Miz Rita and Rosie,
Best cooks in town.
