A mid-level disturbance will bring a swath of light snow into the area today and last through tonight. Snowfall amounts could be up to an inch tonight across east-central and northeast Wisconsin.
A slow moving storm system will generate periods of light snow or mixed rain and snow from Tuesday into Wednesday. There may be a couple periods of more significant lake-enhanced snow near Lake Michigan, though warmer temperatures off the lake could result in mixed rain and snow. Snow totals over the period will be highest in far northeast and east central Wisconsin. Total storm accumulations of 1 to 4 inches are expected, with locally higher amounts to 5 inches possible across portions of northeast Wisconsin. Slippery roads and locally hazardous travel will be possible, especially during the nighttime periods into the early morning hours.
