22. It is of the LORD'S mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not.23. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.24. The LORD is my portion, saith my soul; therefore will I hope in him.26. The LORD is good unto them that wait for him, to the soul that seeketh him.27. It is good that a man should both hope and quietly wait for the salvation of the LORD. Lamentations 3:22-26 🙏🏻 As Jeremiah spoke then of the Lord, so has He remained the same to this day. Sin against a holy God, deserves death, but we have experienced the mercies of God, because we were not destroyed in our sin, mercy and goodness, and the grace of God has spared us, through Christ the Lord. Every morning we wake we are given, the tender mercies of God, with His love and compassion. Each day gives opportunities, of spiritual and temporal blessings, new discoveries of the love of God. God is truly faithful, all the promises of God, are fulfilled in Christ the Son, the Saviour of His people. The Lord, is what the soul seeks, the Lord is the eternal fulfillment of all it needs, for this time passes very quickly, and nothing in this world will satisfy the soul, for all of time. All that seek Christ will find Him, and His grace, and shall be rewarded with life eternal. Amen.
