For thou, O God, hast heard my vows: thou hast given me the heritage of those that fear thy name. Psalm 61:1-5 🙏🏻 The psalmist shows, that God hears us, and is able to deliver us, from any distress. Where ever we are God is there, a heart overwhelmed, and pressed down in sin, guilt and shame, is a great burden, yet Christ is able to remove all. Christ is the Rock, the foundation of our faith, He alone has done, what we could not, for He lived without sin. Christ is Savior, our refuge from the punishment we deserve, He alone is our shelter, a tower which cannot be brought down. Satan has been defeated by Christ, another thing we were helpless against. Christ has made it possible for us to enter into the presence of the Almighty, to enter where He lives, to be covered by His protection. All those that reverence the Lord, vow that He is King, and submit to His authority, will inherit eternal life. Amen.
