For the folks that like living off grid, I do recommend Japanese (Jumbo) Coturnix Quail. They lay small eggs, but a ton of them. They also have a high iron and protein nutrition profile. I was able to order eggs, incubate and hatch, raise, then incubate and hatch my own quail eggs, kind of circular. I've moved into the City since then, but I miss raising them. Not selling, just advice.
