1. God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets,2. Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds;3. Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high:4. Being made so much better than the angels, as he hath by inheritance obtained a more excellent name than they.5. For unto which of the angels said he at any time, Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee? And again, I will be to him a Father, and he shall be to me a Son? Hebrews 1:1-5 God, who in different times, and diverse manners, spoke to His people, through prophets, about the Messiah. Now at this time, has spoken through His Son. By the revelation of the Gospel. Being the image of God, in the form of a man, having all power in Him, that created the Universe and all it contains. Became sin, taking our sins punishment in His own body and giving us eternal life. Christ faithfully fulfilled His mission, than took His place at the right hand of the Father. Christ alone restored what sin took away. So we are in debt to Christ, and it is a small thing that we submit to Him. No matter what stage of life we are in, it is never to late, to surrender. The word says, a live dog is better than a dead lion. I was a dead dog, in sin, rescued by Christ, given eternal life. Surgeon said, that the devil said he was unworthy, he said, I was always unworthy. But the love of Christ, is exceedingly more, than any love we have ever known. Amen.
