10. That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death;11. If by any means I might attain unto the resurrection of the dead.12. Not as though I had already attained, either were already perfect: but I follow after, if that I may apprehend that for which also I am apprehended of Christ Jesus. president I count not myself to have apprehended but this one thing I do forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before,14. I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. Philippians3: 10-14 ππ» Paul knew Christ, in a firm faith, after his conversion, leaving behind his profession as a Pharisee. Seeking during his life, a greater knowledge of Christ. We must share in Christ's suffering, for it is for our sins he was afflicted. Be conformed to His death, we crucify the flesh daily, looking forward to the eternal reward, the flesh not able to bear it. And we as Paul, living we are not perfect yet. Yet, we are perfect in Christ, and His Righteousness, being made new in spirit and mind. We shall not get the prize in this body of sin, so we must pursue the High Calling of Christ, leaving behind the life of sin, and press toward the mark set by Christ, the finish line of life's race, then shall Christ bestow the reward of eternal life, it is not an easy road, but every step will be worth it. Amen.
