1. Unto thee, O LORD, do I lift up my soul..
2. O my God, I trust in thee: let me not be ashamed, let not mine enemies triumph over me.
3. Yea, let none that wait on thee be ashamed: let them be ashamed which transgress without cause.
4. Shew me thy ways, O LORD; teach me thy paths.
5. Lead me in thy truth, and teach me: for thou art the God of my salvation; on thee do I wait all the day.
Psalm 25:1-5 πŸ™πŸ»
The psalmist, in affectionate prayer, offers body, and soul, heart, to the Lord, the Creator.
The length of, and the words used in prayer, are meaningless, if the heart has no commitment to the Lord.
Trust in the Lord, is trust in His Word.
This word ashamed, in the Hebrew means, disappointed.
None shall be disappointed who have rooted their trust in Christ.
We must be submitted to the Shepherd, following in His path, for we were not born with His ways, and must be taught.
The Bible through the Spirit is our Teacher.
The Gospel the Truth of the Salvation of Christ our Lord, our God.
And our waiting for His return shall not be in vain, but sure, for all the promises of God are, Yes, and Let it be so. Amen.
