1. In the LORD put I my trust: how say ye to my soul, Flee as a bird to your mountain?
2. For, lo, the wicked bend their bow, they make ready their arrow upon the string, that they may privily shoot at the upright in heart.
3. If the foundations be destroyed, what can the righteous do?
4. The LORD is in his holy temple, the LORD'S throne is in heaven: his eyes behold, his eyelids try, the children of men.
5. The LORD trieth the righteous: but the wicked and him that loveth violence his soul hateth.
6. Upon the wicked he shall rain snares, fire and brimstone, and an horrible tempest: this shall be the portion of their cup.
7. For the righteous LORD loveth righteousness; his countenance doth behold the upright.
Psalm 11:1-6πŸ™πŸ»
The psalmist put his whole trust in the Lord, while his enemies told him to run and hide.
Though the enemy has weapons ready to destroy, the protection of our God is absolute.
To men, things may be in disarray, and out of order, but to the Lord, Christ, the Righteous, the foundation of our Salvation, the wicked will never prevail.
When the wicked try to undermine the foundation of our religion, we must go to the throne of grace, standing fast in faith, asking, to put and end to the designs of Satan.
The Lord is on His throne in heaven, prepared to give judgment to the wicked, all who are harden by sin.
And to reward the repentant with salvation.
For He tries the hearts of men, and nothing is hidden from His sight.
The Lord loves all who are covered in His Righteousness, because it is His right standing before His Father, that has given us access to His kingdom. Amen
