3. When I consider thy heavens, the work of thy fingers, the moon and the stars, which thou hast ordained;
4. What is man, that thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that thou visitest him?
5. For thou has made him a little lower than the angels, and his crowned him with glory and honour.
6. Thou madest him to have dominion over the works of thy hands; thou hast put all things under his feet:
Psalm 8:3-6 πŸ™πŸ»
I pray that you can see Christ in the verses of this Psalm.
The psalmist considers the majesty of God, and all His creations, he is able to see.
And man, created in God's image, is not what is spoken of here, but the Son of Man, which is Christ.
For Christ left His majestic state, and became a man, being subject to the mortal conditions of life and death, for who would be able to harm Christ, He who Created everything. And what man in history has been crowned with glory and honor, rising from death, to sit at the righthand of the Father.
Christ fulfilled His mission to die, for the sins that separated man from God.
And the Father seeing His success, put everything under the authority of Christ, and gave Christ a name above all names. Amen.
