14. For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,15. Of whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named,16. That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man;17. That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love,18. May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height;19. And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fullness of God. Ephesians 3: 14-19 🙏🏻 Paul is living proof that Christ's love can change a man. For before his conversion he persecuted the church, but now prays a powerful prayer for its members. That at our conversion, we were accepted into the family of God, and Christ's Father, is ours. He prays that the inner man who will carry on after this body dies. Is strengthen with the Holy Ghost, being Teacher, Comforter, and Guide. Faith is powerful when rooted in Christ, being able to grow. And this prayer is for us, for every saint, started out a sinner. The meat of this prayer is that we begin to understand the width, the length, how deep, and how high, Christ's love for us is. The Cross is the symbol of that love. And that knowing that love, which passes anything we could learn, we are filled with the fulness of God, in Christ, let it be so. Amen.
