1 Now I say, That the heir, as long as he is a child, differeth nothing from a servant, though he be lord of all;2. But is under tutors and governors until the time appointed of the father..3. Even so we, when we were children, were in bondage under the elements of the world:4. But when the fullness of time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law,5. To redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons.6. And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father. Galatians 4:1-6🙏🏻 Paul is saying, that heirs being left an estate, being young, have no control of it, till they reach an age that is appointed. We being children not in age, but in the knowledge of Christ, and spiritual matters, are unable to grasp the Gospel message, until Christ comes to us, we before being bound to sin, death, and destruction. Christ came at the time fixed by the Father, and fulfilled every promise of God. He came into this world the same way we did. Leaving heaven and His glory, to become a man. At the will of the Father. And being sent, He obeyed. Sinless He became the sacrifice for sin, for all. Making us sons of God, where we cry Abba, Father. Abba means Father, it is a term that expresses affection, confidence, and trust. Abba signifies the close, intimate relationship of a father and his child, as well as the childlike trust that a young child puts in his daddy. It is the the first word we use in prayer, "Father." Amen.
