16. Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified.17. But if, while we seek to be justified by Christ, we ourselves also are found sinners, is therefore Christ the minister of sin? God forbid.18. For if I build again the things which I destroyed, I make myself a transgressor.19. For I though the law am dead to the law, that I may live unto God.20. I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me. Galatians 2 16-20 ππ» Paul explains, that the law requires perfect sinless obedience, if broken, it accuses, finds guilty, and condemns to death. There is no mercy in the law. Justification comes from Christ alone, because of His love, and sacrifice, we are declared not guilty. Just as if we never sinned. We are obligated, because of His grace, the unmerited favor of God, to flee from sin, because we have been redeemed from it's judgment. As a follower of Christ, we cannot jump back and forth, from the narrow, straight path, to the road of destruction, and expect to enter the Kingdom. This next verse comes easy to some, and others like myself, takes many years, because my faith was weak, until I started reading every day, filling my spirit with the Word of God. When you begin to understand the Love of Christ, for who He created, that He came, gave Himself, so we did not have to experience His wrath, for sin. And we are not sinless, but our sins were nailed to the cross with Him, even ones we have not committed, yet, when we trust Him, with all our heart, we shall come out Victorious in Christ, against sin. Amen.
