1. O come, let us sing unto the LORD: let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation.
2. Let us come before his presence with thanksgiving, and make a joyful noise unto him with psalms.
3. For the LORD is a great God, and a great King above all gods.
4. In his hand are the deep places of the earth: the strength of the hills is his also.
5. The sea is his, and he made it: and his hands formed the dry land.
6. O come, let us worship and bow down: let us kneel before the LORD our maker.
Psalm 95:1-6πŸ™πŸ»
The psalmist bids us to sing to Christ, Saviour, Redeemer, King, and Priest, the Mighty God of our Salvation.
Christ is our solid foundation, the Shepherd of our soul. Make a loud song of praise and thanksgiving, praise Him for His saving grace. It may be noise to the rest of the world, but it is sweet in the ears of our Lord.
It is clear the psalmist speaks of Christ, for He is King of all kings, and Creator of all we can see, and all we cannot.
The sea is His, He made, and is Master of all its waves. And all that abide in it.
The dry land He formed and all the dwell on it. So Christ is worthy of our Worship.
Let us come willingly to bow down and worship Christ the Lord, for at the end even His enemies, shall submit, bending the knee, bowing, and confessing, Christ, is Lord of all. Amen.
