7. Will the Lord cast off for ever? and will he be favourable no more?8. Is his mercy clean gone for ever? doth his promise fail for evermore?9. Hath God forgotten to be gracious? hath he in anger shut up his tender mercies? Selah.10. And I said, This is my infirmity: but I will remember the years of the right hand of the most High. 11. I will remember the works of the LORD: surely I will remember the wonders of old.Psalm 77:7-11 The psalmist in doubt, asks these questions. And to assure you of God's faithfulness, delayed answers, and not sensing His Spirit, is not a sign of abandonment. For the promises of God are, yes, and let it be so. Christ said, He would never leave us, and that He would pray the Father to send the Holy Ghost, to be your helper. His mercy is new every morning. Because of Christ, the hand of judgment has been removed. And it is good for us to remember the God of Creation, Salvation, Redemption, Christ the Lord, and such shall not doubt, but shall increase in Faith. Amen.
