18. Thou hast ascended on high, thou hast led captivity captive: thou hast received gifts for men; yea, for the rebellious also, that the Lord God might dwell among them.19. Blessed be the Lord, who daily loadeth us with benefits, even the God of our salvation. Selah.20. He that is our God is the God of our salvation; and unto God the Lord belong the issues from death.21. But God shall wound the head of his enemies, and the hairy scalp of such an one as goeth on still in his trespasses.Psalm 68:18-21 This Psalm was written 1045 years before Christ's birth. Yet it speaks clearly of Him. Christ is the only man, to ascend into heaven. We shall follow one day. The only one who has set men free from the captivity of sin. The only one who received the Spirit without measure, and distributed the gifts to men. Even He came to save the rebellious, I can assure you I was one. His purpose was to redeem us so He could fellowship with us. Salvation is a wonderful gift, out of our reach, till received in Christ. And with it untold gifts, to aid us in our journey. And salvation leads to eternal life. The God of our salvation is Christ. But the benevolent God, who gave His life to save us, will not ignore judgment on His enemies that refuse His grace. Amen.
