So , if they ban gas cars , all the gas stations will shut down and since there is no gas for tourists , then tourists from other states quit coming.. Now the motels , theme parks , restaurants & tourist attractions go out of business , former employees leave for other states.. California loses over $7 billion a year in fuel taxes , to recoup this loss , all those people who bought those EVs will now start paying a " per mile tax "..
