14. For the love of Christ constraineth us; because we thus judge, that if one died for all, then were all dead:
15. And that he died for all, that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto him which died for them, and rose again.
16. Wherefore henceforth know we no man after the flesh: yea, though we have known Christ after the flesh, yet now henceforth no we him no more.
17. Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things have become new.
2 Corinthians
14-17 πŸ™πŸ»
Paul explains, that the love of Christ, keeps us together, as His church, because we have understood that if Christ died for the sin of men, then all were under the judgment of death.
Dead in the trespasses of sin, by the Law, and the Law having no mercy, only able to give a verdict of guilty, or innocent.
But the Love of Christ, is, He died so men can live. We being justified by His death.
Now all are equal, all have sinned, and deserve death.
Yet Christ has risen from the grave, and all of His shall follow.
Being made new, in spirit, mind, and body, no longer to serve sin, but to serve the Savior who gave His life, freely.
The old man has died, at the Cross with Christ. The new man, shall rise to eternal life, with Christ.
Amen.
