27. Now ye are the body of Christ, and members in particular.28. And God hath set some in the church, first apostles, secondarily prophets, thirdly teachers, after that miracles, then gifts of healing, helps, governments diversity of tongues.29. Are all apostles? are all prophets? are all teachers? are all workers of miracles??30. Have all the gifts of healing? do all speak with tongues? do all interpret? 1 Corinthians 12: 27-30 🙏🏻 Paul explains that we are all part of Christ's body, the Church. We as members, have different duties, yet none are greater, or lower, for all are of the same body, every position, every work, every thing done, is to Christ. We can glory in nothing of ourselves, for we were all born dead men, on the road to perdition, before Christ saved us. We by the Holy Ghost, will find our place in the body, and we should do our duties faithfully. Our reward is Christ, and Christ has given us eternal life. Therefore the Spirit does not lack in the gifts to men, to enable us to do what Christ has set before us. And we are all of the same family, let us do it with all joy. Amen.
