1. God standeth in the congregation of the mighty; he judgeth among the gods.2. How long will ye judge unjustly, and accept the persons of the wicked? Selah. 3. Defend the poor and fatherless: do justice to the afflicted and needy.4. Deliver the poor and needy: rid them out of the hand of the wicked.5. They know not, neither will they understand; they walk on in darkness: all the foundations of the earth are out of course.6. I have said, Ye are gods; and all of you are children of the most High.7. But ye shall die like men, and fall like one of the princes. Psalm 82:1-7 The psalmist proves the mercy of God, and how perfect is His judgment. Christ standing among the angels He created, expelled those unworthy of being in His presence. Also Christ came to set the world free from sin, He stood among the seventy one person's of the Sanhedrin, and being perfect, was judged a sinner and sentenced to death. The is no one who knows relationships, like the Creator, children were never to be without a father, and followers of Christ, have a Might Father. In our short time here we have opportunities to help those in need. But the wicked who walk in darkness care only for themselves. We are all children of God, and one day we shall all stand before Him. This verse 7, is to those who refuse Christ and His ways, where eternal life is guaranteed to the believers, only death and destruction awaits those without Christ. And as Christ said, " I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven." Luke 10:18. So all who have rejected Christ, will be removed from His presence, into eternal punishment, at the last judgment. Amen.
