11. And that, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep: for now is our salvation nearer then when we believed.12. The night is far spent, the day is at hand: let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armor of light.13. Let us walk honestly, as in the day; not in rioting and drunkenness, not in chambering and wantonness, not in strife and envying.14. But put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh, to fulfill the lusts thereof. Romans 13: 11-14 🙏🏻 Knowing the time, that it is day, and not night, the Gospel day, the day of salvation, where grace shines forth. It is day, a time for the Lord's business, for everything of this world shall pass away, but the business of the Lord has a sure reward. Each day that passes, brings the Lord's return closer. Those that have put off the works of darkness have stepped into the Light. There are many who sleep, but say they are woke, but they honor not the command-ments, but seek the pleasure of this world, which leads to destruction. Death is sure, sin the cause, Christ the cure. All who are clothed in the righteousness of Christ, shall inherit His reward. Amen.
