8. But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach;
9. That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
10. For with the heart man believeth unto righteous-
ness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
11. For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.
Romans 10:
8-11 πŸ™πŸ»
The Word of God, being the Gospel message, in the heart of preachers, and being received from their mouths, holds the blessings and promise of grace, pardon of sin, newness of heart.
The Gospel filled with the doctrine of justification by the righteousness of Christ, received by faith, Christ the object of that faith, brings assurance of salvation and eternal life.
A sincere confession to God, and people, that Christ is Lord and Saviour, and a pure belief in the heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.
The heart that believes in Christ, is a new heart, for the old man, will have none of Christ's ways.
And confessing Christ as Lord, the carnal heart will have nothing to do with, seeing it seeks it's own pleasures.
A heart that belongs to Christ, shall never be destroyed, just the opposite, it shall live forever. This is the reward for those who put Christ first, for He is worthy as King, He has made all things, even us, without Him, we perish. Amen.
