26. Saying, Go unto this people, and say, Hearing ye shall hear, and shall not understand; and seeing ye shall see, and not perceive:27. For the heart of this people is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes have they closed; lest they should see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them.28. Be it known therefore unto you, that the salvation of God is sent unto the Gentiles, and that they will hear it.Acts 28:26-28 This is proof that Paul did not preach his own gospel, but the gospel of Christ, first to the Jews, because salvation was to the Jew first. And at the rejection of it, he then preached to the Gentiles. Verse 26-27, is from Isaiah 6:9-10, these are God's word to Isaiah. The two learning gates, the eyes, and hears, God's people rejected the Word of God, it was preached openly to them. And with their eyes they saw Christ crucified, but refused to believe. Notice Paul says that salvation would be to those that hear it, faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. Hebrews 2:3, How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation; which at first began to be spoken by the Lord. If God spared not His own Son, because of sin, then we have only one hope, Christ crucified. Amen.
