2. Wherefore should the heathen say, Where is now their God?3. But our God is in the heavens: he hath done whatsoever he hath pleased.4. Their idols are silver and gold, the work of men's hands.5. They have mouths, but they speak not: eyes have they, but they see not:6. They have ears, but they hear not: noses have they, but they smell not:7. They have hands, but they handle not: feet have they, but they walk not: neither speak they through their throat.8. They that make them are like unto them; so is every one that trusteth in them. Psalm 115: 2-8 ππ» Those void of knowledge of the true living God, are here called heathen. They make a show at religion, but lack understanding. These are the one's who will appear before Christ, and His answer to them will be, depart from me, I never knew you. For they sought after their own god, and denied Christ. And degraded the followers of Christ, in times of persecution, with where is your help, from your God. We are not born servants of Christ, and Satan would lie to you that your are spiritual. But what man could make a god to save him from destruction. As soon as he put his hands to it he made it a profane thing. Christ made the seeing eye, and the hearing ear, the learning gates of all men. He formed the arms and legs, gave voice, and gave every blessing known to men. The idols of men are vain, they being formed by men are powerless, and shall never hold life eternal. So are all that make and put their trust in them, they travel quickly to destruction. But our God is alive! He does what He pleases. Because He is perfect, without fault, so powerful, undefeated, in every battle. Trust in Him, for there is Salvation in no other but Christ our Lord and Saviour, King of all kings. Amen.
