I got this photo from the U.S. Navy post on LinkedIn. I really like this photo. Note the pilot is attempting to drop onto the deck and hook a cable. Meanwhile, look at the wake the carrier is leaving behind pushing for maximum speed to help the pilot land safer and less violently. God bless those Navy guys! They do this every day.
