7. And there they preached the gospel.
8. And there sat a certain man at Lystra, impotent in his feet, being a cripple from his mother's womb, who never had walked:
9. The same heard Paul speak: who steadfastly beholding him, and perceiving that he had faith to be healed,
10. Said with a loud voice, Stand upright on thy feet. And he leaped and walked.
11. And when the people saw what Paul had done, they lifted up their voices, saying in the speech of Lycaonia, The gods are come down to us in the likeness of men.
Acts 14:7-12
Before verse 7, Paul, and the other followers of Christ, faced stoning for sharing the Gospel.
Yet, they continued to preach Christ, at the risk of their lives. And so it is in certain parts of the world today, we have it so easy in the United States.
Signs and wonders follow the pure preaching of Christ, and here a man is healed, being told by Paul to stand. And he leaped, and walked, instantly. How long did it take us born whole, to learn the same thing?
And the foolishness of an unregenerated mind, to hear the Gospel, and give credit to vanities, that can no good or evil. And be so close in their discourse, but miss the mark.
For Christ is the only true God, who came to earth in the form of a man. And His sacrifice, was for our benefit. Amen.
