18. O earth, cover not thou my blood, and let my cry have no place.19. Also now, behold, my witness is in heaven, and my record is on high.20. My friends scorn me: but mine eye poureth out tears unto God.21. O that one might plead for a man with God, as a man pleadeth for his neighbour!22. When a few years are come, then I shall go the way whence I shall not return.Job 16:18-22 ππ» The time-line of the book of Job is unsure, but he was a real person, whom Satan, moved against him without cause. At least 700 years before Christ was born, some say 1,700. What is important, is that Job knew God Almighty, and His Son Christ. Job 19:25, I know that my redeemer liveth, and he shall stand at the latter day upon the earth:, and in today's verse 19, my witness is in heaven. I believe that the only person that suffered more than Job was Christ our Lord. And though his friends accused him of being punished for his wickedness, his hope remained in God, his Savior. There is Christ, the Mediator between God and men, who makes intercession for us, His mercies are new every morning. God knows what you are going through, He sees all, hears all, you cannot surprise Him. Pour your tears out to Christ, He hears, and counts every tear. O what a friend we have in Jesus. Amen.
