1. I will extol thee, my God, O king; and I will bless thy name for ever and ever.2. Every day will I bless thee; and I will praise thy name for ever and ever.3. Great is the LORD, and greatly to be praised; and his greatness is unsearchable..4. One generation shall praise thy works to another, and shall declare thy mighty acts.5. I will speak of the glorious honour of thy majesty, and of thy wondrous works. Psalm 145:1-5 To extol, is to praise enthusiastically,and this Psalm praises Christ as King. His greatness is shown in His works, but men know not of all He has done. Christ is worthy of our praise and devotion, and those who love Him here, will carry that love and devotion into eternity. If you cannot credit Christ to forming everything in the universe, you will never see Him as King, and if you see Him not as King, you will never know Him as Saviour. You cannot know Christ and be silent, His majesty covers even the things we cannot see. And His salvation cries out to all who will benefit from it. None can truly receive anything from the Lord, and not declare His wonderful works. Amen.
