43. So there was a division among the people because of him.44. And some of them would have taken him; but no man laid hands on him.45. Then came the officers to the chief priests and Pharisees; and they said unto them, Why have ye not brought him?46. The officers answered, Never man spake like this man.47. Then answered them the Pharisees, Are ye also deceived?48. Have any of the rulers or of the Pharisees believe on him?49. But this people who knoweth not the law are cursed..John 7:43-49 🙏🏻 The division spoken of here is still present today, some believe, most do not. Christ being God in the flesh, never lost His deity, and no man could take Him against His will. This is His love for us, that He laid down His life, at the time appointed, and did it willingly. The religious leaders, were the ones deceived, there is no salvation in the law, no mercy, only judgment, guilty, or innocent. The law is the curse, if you have broken it, and we all have. But here is our hope. Galatians 3:13- Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: Christ took the punishment on the cross, for all the redeemed, thank you, Jesus.
