37. Mark the perfect man, and behold the upright: for the end of that man is peace. 38. But the transgressors shall be destroyed together: the end of the wicked shall be cut off.39. But the salvation of the righteous is of the LORD: he is their strength in the time of trouble.40. And the LORD shall help them, and deliver them: he shall deliver them from the wicked, and save them, because they trust in him. Psalm 37:37-40 These words, perfect and upright, defined as (perfect) complete, having integrity, (upright) pleasing, correct. This is a picture of a regenerated man, and it says very plainly, the end of this man is peace. Not so with those that continue in the ways of the world, they shall be cutoff, destroyed. The Lord is the only Savior, and His strength is the covering of the new man, with the Righteousness of Christ. Christ the Lord is our only hope, there is help from no other, no other can deliver from death, and destruction. No other can save, from the punishment we earned. Only those that have put their trust in Christ and have forsaken the world. Amen.
