17. And he took the cup, and gave thanks, and said, Take this, and divide it among yourselves:18. For I say unto you, I will not drink of the fruit of the vine, until the kingdom of God shall come.19. And he took bread, and gave thanks, and break it, and gave it unto them, saying, This is my body which is given for you: this do in remembrance of me.20. Likewise also the cup after supper, saying, This cup is the new testament in my blood, which is shed for you. Luke 22:17-20🙏🏻 This account of the passover meal, Jesus's last supper with His disciples, is our hope. Jesus did not do away the law, but He made a sure way of redemption for all who follow Him. Jesus is our atonement, there is no other. The Father has laid the sins of all men upon Him, but not all shall enter the reward. Do this in remembrance of me, is a reminder of what Jesus had to suffer to make a sure path to the place He has prepared. Not all look to Christ, and being in that state, they are blind, never finding the Door, or the Way, to heaven. Amen.
