6. But I am a worm, and no man; a reproach of men, and despised of the people.7. All they that see me laugh me to scorn: they shoot out the lip, they shake the head, saying,8. He trusted on the LORD that he would deliver him: let him deliver him, seeing he delighted in him. 9. But thou art he that took me out of the womb: thou didst make me hope when I was upon my mother's breast..10. I was cast upon thee from the womb: thou art my God from my mother's belly.11. Be not far from me; for trouble is near; for there is none to help. Psalm 22:6-11 I encourage you to read this Psalm for yourself in it's entirety, takes less than 5 minutes. A prophetic work of King David, clearly describing Christ, written most likely around 1044 b.c. Despised of the people, defenseless, unlike any man born before. Railed and laughed at while He died on the cross, for the sins of the world. Christ 100% human, raised from an infant, as us, but 100% God, for what man could suffer the punishment of every sin, and raise himself from the grave. The wisdom of Christ that He sought not the help of feeble men, but went straight to His Father, who He has known before time or the universe was created. Yet the Father put our punishment totally on His Son, so that we might live, and inherit eternal life. Amen.
