6. Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: the scepter of thy kingdom is a right scepter.
7. Thou lovest righteousness, and hatest wickedness: therefore God, thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows.
Psalm 45:6-7 πŸ™πŸ»
This verse is applied to the Son of God, Jesus is God.
His authority is over all creation, good or bad.
Christ shall have no replacement, He shall not die again, He shall deliver His kingdom to His Father, but His kingdom is eternal, everlasting.
The scepter is a symbol of authority of a king. And Christ's scepter is a symbol of mercy and grace, and dominion, delivering the Gospel message.
Christ rules in righteousness, faithfulness, and integrity, fulfilling all the requirements of the law.
And suffered to abolish sin and wickedness.
Therefore God, the God of Christ the man, anointed Him, with the Holy Ghost, without measure, in all gifts and graces.
This is Christ the eternal God, who came to earth, and took our punishment, that we may be restored to fellowship with His Father. Amen.
