6. For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. Isaiah 9:6 Christmas foretold in the old testament. The word of God is true, it stands the test of time, and stands true in the midst of adversity. It shall never fail. And now how much more shall we rejoice, Christ came as an infant, grew to a man, obedient to His Father unto death, so men should have peace with God. You cannot read this verse without understanding that Jesus is God, He is Wonderful, Our Counselor, The Prince of Peace, there is no peace with God, without out Christ. This is Christmas, Emanuel, God with us, not far away, but with you now, as you live and breathe. When you have Christ, you have everything. Amen.
